This hotel used to be a mere 4 star, now it is a “Luabay” 4 star. The Luabay Costa Adeje (formally the Esmeralda Playa) is undergoing a huge refurbishment and will be ready for the latter stages of summer 2011.We understand the improvements are so substantial it will become in effect a new hotel and will include a brand new Spa. Located in the heart of Costa Adeje, the hotels position is great. And beach lovers will be happy as the delightful Torviscas beach is just 100m away.
With the perfect position, and now being part of the Luabay family, the Luabay Costa Adeje is the perfect hotel.
There will be a variety of room types from budget to Junior Suites, all with air-conditioning, satellite/cable TV, bathroom, hairdryer, fridge and balcony.

Location
Costa Adeje is a great resort, appealing to all ages. It has a relaxed elegant atmosphere, yet there is so much on offer you will be spoilt for choice.
There are 4 lovely beaches (all within 10 mins of the Luabay Costa Adeje), all very family friendly with excellent facilities such as such as toilets, changing rooms, bars/restaurants etc.
Costa Adeje Hotels offer very high standards. Though there are the odd budget apartment complexes, hotels here start at 4 stars.
There is no end to the activities on offer here; the resort has pretty much everything you could ask for. For the golfers there are numerous superb courses all within 15 minute drive. The Puerto Colon marina is well worth a visit (5 mins from the Luabay Costa Adeje) with Catamaran trips, whale watching, scuba diving and water sports such as pedelos, jet skis and banana boats on offer, or you can just people watch from one of its many bars. Keeping with the water theme, a visit to the amazing Siam Park is a must.
Whether it is hotels in Costa Adeje, or a family apartment, this area of Tenerife will not disappoint. Relaxed both day and night, this resort really does have the x factor. For those wishing to dance until the sun rises, worry not, Playa de las Americas is just a few minutes taxi ride away
